Graphic Designer / West Cork

About

Hello! I’m Katie, a graphic designer and general maker-of-stuff based in beautiful Ballydehob, West Cork.

My core focus is on graphic design for film & TV. I’m comfortable working with all time periods and genres, but I have an absolute grá for historical ephemera and vintage typography. Getting to contribute in some small, visual way to the overall narrative of a film is endlessly thrilling!

I’m also creative director at PixelSoup, a tiny studio that creates web, print and interactive projects for a diverse range of clients. I’ve worked for some excellent brands, including RTÉ, Lidl, ESB, Unilever, Connacht Gold, Parcel Motel, and more besides. In a previous life, when Adobe Flash reigned supreme, I designed, illustrated and animated educational content for Riverdeep Interactive Learning (now Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). My tiny claim to fame is getting to work on a Powerpuff Girls video-game.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, collecting crafting hobbies, growing things in my (overgrown) garden, and writing ghost stories.

Have a project you’d like to collaborate on? Drop me a line!
